It’s time for the October edition of IQ Monthly News! This past month we were working hard towards the launch of IQ v3. There were also several major updates in October including IQ gaining a listing on Coinone, BrainDAO acquiring 2.1 million sFRAX, IQ GPT adding BlockBeats as a source, and a new episode of IQ Times with Bond Protocol.

Introducing IQ v3: Navigating the Future of Blockchain Knowledge and AI

On November 1, we released IQ v3, an update and vision document that outlines BrainDAO’s plan for growing the IQ ecosystem by further integrating artificial intelligence. We will be expanding IQ.wiki and IQ GPT as well as launching new products like IQ Code, the first AI tool for coding for blockchain languages like Solidity and Vyper, and IQ.social, the first AI-powered hub for crypto news which is already live. The IQ v3 launch also marked the day of IQ token's halving event, which reduced token emissions by half. As with Bitcoin and Ethereum, the halvening will reduce inflation and make the token more sustainable and scarce in the long run. As part of IQ v3, we will further improve IQ tokenomics. BrainDAO is working on building a new gauges system to improve the utility of the IQ token in decentralized finance. This will also allow hiIQ stakers more governance rights in deciding where IQ emissions get channeled and create new ways for hiIQ stakers to earn even more yield. IQ/KRW Pair is Listed on Coinone

In October, Coinone, one of Korea’s largest exchanges listed the IQ token with a KRW fiat pair. This will lead to even greater liquidity and exposure for the IQ token to the South Korean market, which is the largest in Asia. In 2023, the IQ token saw a record volume on Upbit and Binance seeing several days with over $100 million in volume and one day with over $380 million in volume. It’s no surprise that the IQ token has grown quickly with the rebranding of IQ.wiki and with the launch of IQ GPT, the World’s First Crypto Search Engine.

BrainDAO acquires $2.1 Million Staked FRAX

The BrainDAO’s treasury has acquired 2,100,000 sFRAX through Frax Finance’s ERC4626 staking vault. Staked Frax (sFRAX) distributes a portion of the protocol's yield on a weekly basis to stakers, with rewards denominated in FRAX stablecoins. The sFRAX token is a representation of proportional deposits held within the vault and can be redeemed for FRAX stablecoins at any time, maintaining a pro-rata exchange rate. This will bring revenue to BrainDAO as all profits generated are distributed to sFRAX holders such as BrainDAO.

BlockBeats becomes the first Chinese source of crypto knowledge for IQ GPT

BlockBeats, a leading Chinese source for the latest developments in blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency industry, joined forces with IQ GPT to further enhance its capabilities in delivering precise and timely information to its users. Previously, IQ GPT has been trained on data from information platform CoinGecko, The Associated Press, Korean crypto news outlet CoinNess, InvestHK, the Hong Kong Government's Department of Foreign Direct Investment, decentralized finance (DeFi) content provider Flywheel DeFi, and IQ.wiki's repository of encyclopedia entries. BlockBeats and IQ GPT are committed to revolutionizing how knowledge is accessed, making it easier for anyone to stay informed in the fast-paced world of cryptocurrency. With this partnership, users can expect an even more streamlined and enriched experience when chatting with IQ GPT in Chinese.
