History

Founded in 2015 by JP Richardson and Daniel Castagnoli, Exodus Movement, Inc. is a self-custodial cryptocurrency software platform. Since its inception, the company has assembled experts in , technology, and business to address the challenge of how people control and access their wealth. [1][2]

Exodus offers applications for individuals to manage and self-custody their digital assets, allowing users to maintain full control without counterparty risk. The Exodus suite includes tools for accessing (DeFi) and technology from both desktop and mobile devices. [4]

JP Richardson

JP co-founded Exodus in 2015 with a mission: build a beautiful, user-friendly app for crypto. He serves as the CEO and director of the company. So far, Exodus has 4.5 million customers and employs 215 people worldwide who all receive 100% of their salary in . Under JP's leadership, Exodus became the first US company to conduct an SEC-qualified crypto-only public offering in 2021, and the only one to have its common stock tokenized on the blockchain. [5]
