Hybrid
Hybrid is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 blockchain incorporating a Mixture of Experts (MoE) framework. It allows for the straightforward creation and monetization of AI agents. It enhances data integrity and usability within blockchain applications, facilitating the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions across different sectors. [1]
Overview
Hybrid is an EVM-compatible Web3 ecosystem designed to support the creation and monetization of AI agents while facilitating interaction with decentralized applications. It features the $HYB token for transactions and incentives and integrates Atlas, an on-chain AI model that enhances blockchain activities through real-time data analysis. By addressing the gap in AI integration within Web3, Hybrid provides tools for developers to build AI-driven applications, offering decentralized storage for data security, the Atlas AI agent for data analytics, an MoE framework for specialized AI development, and a marketplace for custom AI agents. This platform enables innovation and makes AI technology more accessible to users through flexible pay-per-use or subscription options. [2]
Testnet
Hybrid launched its testnet in June 2024, using Caldera as its rollup-as-a-service provider. The testnet is divided into two phases: Phase 1 focuses on launching Atlas, a model designed to provide advanced on-chain insights by integrating multiple data sources into a single interface. Phase 2 enables users to create and deploy custom AI agents with minimal coding through intuitive tools that allow for easy design, fine-tuning, and customization of AI models. [4]
Products
Atlas
Atlas is Hybrid's on-chain AI/machine learning model that analyzes real-time blockchain data to provide insights and recommendations. It uses a Language Learning Model (LLM) enriched with various data sources to simplify access to blockchain data through an AI-powered chatbot, catering to a wide range of users from venture capitalists to crypto projects. [3]
Atlas combines historical and real-time blockchain insights, using machine learning models with vector and relational databases for data management. It continuously adapts to new data and trends, offering a user-friendly interface accessible to all. Users can choose between pay-per-call or subscription models, and Atlas integrates with external data sources via secure APIs, ensuring scalability and robust security. [3]
Custom AI Agents
In Phase 2 of Hybrid’s testnet, users can create custom AI Agents, keeping them private or public for others to interact. Available base models include OpenAI, Bedrock, or custom models. Users can integrate real-time data from Hybrid's APIs or upload their datasets in formats like PDF and CSV. Fine-tuning options allow for parameter adjustments and training with system prompts. Public AI Agents can be shared through the marketplace, promoting engagement and offering opportunities to earn rewards. [4]
HYB
$HYB is the core currency of Hybrid's EVM-compatible Layer 2 blockchain, used for transaction processing, incentivization, and governance. It has a total supply of 1B tokens and is used to pay transaction fees, including smart contract execution, AI models, and data access. $HYB incentivizes network participants, such as Storage Node Runners and Validators, rewarding them for maintaining security and processing. Holders can participate in governance and vote on network proposals and protocol changes. [5]
Staking $HYB enables network validation and aligns holders' interests with blockchain health. The tokenomics are designed to promote stability, growth, and equitable incentive distribution, supporting services like AI model deployment, computational resources, and dApps. [5]
Integrity Nodes
Hybrid’s Integrity Nodes validate L2 Rollup blocks and ensure AI agent interactions are secure and transparent. They function as decentralized verifiers, preventing centralized control and ensuring data integrity.
These nodes use a "light verifier" for Arbitrum rollups, allowing operators to validate Nitro batches without running a full node. Their tasks include verifying transactions, confirming AI agent actions, and maintaining on-chain and off-chain data consistency.
Node operators earn $HYB through transaction fees, verification rewards, and token allocations. They can run nodes independently or delegate them to a Node-as-a-Service provider. Integrity Node Licenses, available through a public sale, enable participation in Hybrid’s infrastructure. [6]
AI Agents
Otto
Otto is an autonomous AI agent developed by Hybrid. It is designed to provide real-time crypto insights and market updates through Hybrid’s Unified Data API. Otto interacts dynamically with users on X (formerly Twitter) and evolves through AI16Z Eliza framework integrations.
The $OTTO token underpins Otto’s functionality, granting early access to its chatbot for market analysis and engagement. Future plans include expanded chatbot access, a role in Hybrid’s Initial Agent Offering (IAO) platform, and governance and staking features. [7]
Killer Whale
Killer Whale ($KILLER) is an AI trading agent designed for Solana’s DeFi ecosystem. Using DeepSeek and Hybrid’s Unified Data API, it analyzes trends, tracks volatility, and identifies trading opportunities before market movements occur.
$KILLER is also the utility token for an upcoming Solana-based AI trading fund, where token holders gain exclusive access to AI-executed trades with on-chain execution, transparency, and real-time analytics. [8]
